I had a blast photographing Jason & Alaina’s wedding! Not only because I knew both of them from working at Target back in high school, as well as knowing her brother Brian through school events but because it was an all around fun wedding party! Alaina had a gorgeous dress and was an absolutely stunning bride on her wedding day! I drove 7 hours north to my hometown, Brainerd, to photograph their wedding at St. Francis. It was my first time photographing a wedding at this church and they photos turned out fantastic! Not to mention the front doors were my favorite part ~ Alaina rocked a few photos standing in the doorway that are just to die for! It was a gorgeous day for a wedding (a little windy, but hey – it beats minnesota cold!) and once we made it to the reception the party officially started! (I got to ride in the limo with the wedding party to the reception and it was a blast! My first ever limo ride!) The reception decor at the Lodge was perfect as well as the Lodge itself – had an incredible up-north woodsy feel to it. :).
