I am loving all of the senior guy session’s I’ve had recently and getting to meet such a variety of talented seniors! Ben drove all the way from Platteville to Dubuque for his session and we stayed right down in the warehouse district the entire time. I had the honor of photographing his senior session recently and it was so great meeting another fellow musician! I had played the alto saxophone in high school and loved every minute of it. Ben is a violinist and I loved the whole look of his session! His mom was trying to describe what he looked like to me and she had mentioned that he would probably be showing up in a full on suit. She said he basically looked like James Bond with a violin :).
The weather that day was definitely not ideal, however the sun was behind the clouds for part of the session and allowed us to shoot in some great spots! The wind was a bit chilly but it’s come to be expected for a mid-november session in Iowa! Enjoy your senior year Ben and keep up with your music! It’s an incredible talent to have and hold on to.
