“Beloved” Mini Sessions // Dubuque Portrait Photographer

I recently photographed a one year anniversary session and it got me thinking about the last time my husband and I had our photos professionally taken since our wedding day two years ago. To be honest, we haven’t yet – and I AM a photographer and know MANY others who could take our photos! I wanted to give other couples in the Dubuque Tri-State area a chance to get their photos taken and update all those 5+ yr old photos with something fresh and new, so . . . .without further introduction:

MSW Photography will be shooting “Beloved” mini sessions on September 7th of this year for couples only – have a date night for the two of you and then come to your session with me and get behind the camera and have a blast! My “Beloved” mini sessions can also be purchased as gifts for your parents, grandparents etc. which they can redeem at a later date – however I am only offering 5 as gifts and 1 has already been claimed so make sure to contact me as soon as possible to get one! There are a limited number of sessions beginning at 4pm and continuing until 7pm, if sessions are full and I have more interest than I may open Sunday as an overflow day

Mike & Stephanie // Galena Anniversary and Portrait Photographer

I received an email from Stephanie asking about shooting a session for their 1 year anniversary and I was beyond excited!! I’ve always done engagements and weddings but seeing a couple in love a year after their wedding day was so refreshing and exciting for me! These two are absolutely adorable and we had a blast along the Galena River and then downtown for some more photos. Mike was hilarious and I felt so bad for the two of them during the session with having to deal with the million gnats flying all around us but the photos turned out wonderful! I absolutely loved Stephanie’s idea of incorporating their wedding photo into one of the images and we recreated the pose – arm positions and all! They currently live in Des Moines , IA and had drove to Galena for the weekend to celebrate their anniversary and I was so honored they chose me to photograph their session.

I’m still all giddy that someone outside of the Dubuque area actually managed to find my website! Yay!! I wish you two many, many more years of happiness together!! Marriage continually gets better as the years go by when you are enjoying it with the one you love!

Mother’s Day Mini Sessions 2013 – Book Today!

Sorry it has been a very long time since my last post and I am trying to put together posts from this past year’s wedding and sessions! For now, I just wanted to make sure I got the information out there regarding my Mother’s Day Mini Sessions!! These are going to be a BLAST now that the grass is greening up and the weather is consistently up in the high 50/60’s. I wanted to wait a little longer for the ground to green up and possibly get some blooms out on the trees but with Mother’s Day coming up on May 12th I figured I had better get these sessions in the book!
